A recent study in the Journal of Sexual Medicine found that Viagra 100 mg increased libido by a factor of 4.6 to a maximum of 3.5.
The drug, known generically as sildenafil, will be available by the end of 2024.
The FDA also approved the drug’s use in the treatment of erectile dysfunction, which has been linked to increased blood pressure and heart rate in some men.
